Rain, Hail & Heat: 24-Hour Weather Alert Issued
The Meteorological Department has predicted rain, hail, and an increase in heat intensity in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorms are likely in Islamabad, Murree, Rawalpindi, Galiat, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
While clouds and hail have been forecast in many areas, including the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Charsadda, Dir, Swat, Buner, Mansehra, and Abbottabad.
Meanwhile, the weather is predicted to remain hot and dry in Sindh, Balochistan, and southern Punjab. The mercury in Jacobabad reached 43 degrees Celsius, which was the highest recorded in the country.
Cold wave continues in the upper areas, the temperature in Malam Jabba was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius, and in Kalam at 10 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has advised the public to take precautionary measures during the rain and avoid unnecessary travel.
