Quetta Bus Crash: 6 Dead, 10 Injured in Fiery Collision
A tragic traffic accident on Quetta’s Western Bypass left 6 passengers burnt to death and 10 people injured.
According to rescue sources, the accident occurred when a Mazda bus running inside the city from Nawan to Hazarganji collided with a loading rickshaw filled with petrol.
Immediately after the collision, the petrol in the rickshaw caught fire, which engulfed the entire bus in no time.
Immediately after the incident, rescue teams reached the accident site, the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital while the fire brigade controlled the fire blazing in the bus. Police have cordoned off the accident site and started an investigation.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Baloch expressed deep sorrow and regret over the accident.
He said that a full investigation into the incident has been ordered and strict action will be taken against those responsible.
The spokesperson expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the families of the deceased and assured that all possible medical facilities are being provided to the injured and full support will be extended to the affected families.
