Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz officially inaugurated 5 hybrid double-decker buses for the first time in the history of Pakistan.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz inspected the hybrid double-decker bus and also traveled in the double-decker bus.
It was informed in the briefing that the double-decker bus service in Lahore was started in November 2015 during the tenure of former Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.
Academia, diplomats, state guests, the corporate sector, showbiz personalities, and the public visit tourist spots in tourist buses.
It was told during the briefing that 3 new hybrid double-decker buses will be run on new routes for tourism in Lahore.
While one double-decker bus each will be added in Bahawalpur and Rawalpindi, a double-decker bus service for tourism will also be started in Multan and Faisalabad.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that more new, modern, eco-friendly buses will be provided for metropolitan tourism across Punjab.
Senator Pervez Rasheed, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Information and Culture Minister Uzma Bukhari, Special Assistant Rashid Nasrullah, MPA Sania Ashiq, Chief Secretary, and others were also present.
