The Punjab government has unveiled the winter vacation schedule for both public and private schools throughout the province, means its winter vacations time.
Commencing from December 18, 2023, and extending until January 1, 2024, the winter break for school children was announced by Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday.
Sharing the news on the microblogging site X, Naqvi also revealed the decision to lift restrictions for the upcoming weekend due to an improved Air Quality Index (AQI).
“After a meeting with experts and government officials to address the SMOG challenge in Punjab, we are pleased to announce that, with the improved Air Quality Index (AQI), no restrictions are anticipated for the upcoming weekend. Additionally, children will enjoy winter vacations from December 18, 2023, to January 1, 2024,” the CM conveyed on his official microblogging site handle.”
