CTD Punjab arrested a very close associate of former Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden from Gujarat.
DIG CTD Usman Akram Gondal has said in a press briefing that CTD Punjab has arrested a very close associate of Osama Bin Laden.
The terrorist was arrested after an operation based on intelligence information.
Arrested terrorist Aminul Haque is the leading fighter of Al-Qaeda whose name is also included in the list of global terrorists of the United Nations.
Usman Akram Gondal said that the investigation has been started after registering the arrest of Aminul Haq. Aminul Haq was internationally known as Osama bin Laden’s security supervisor.
If any such terrorist comes, action will be taken against him. DIG CTD said that the terrorist was arrested in 2007 and served four years.
Enemy country agencies had done a lot of propaganda on this, this terrorist appeared in Afghanistan in August 2021 and recently entered Pakistan, they are investigating what this level of terrorist was doing in Pakistan.
He said that this terrorist also has an ID card from Pakistan, and the addresses of Lahore and Haripur are written on the identity card of this terrorist.
How did this terrorist come to Pakistan? And under which ID he traveled, they are investigating.
Usman Akram Gondal said that the case registered against the terrorist arrested from Gujarat will have to be punished.
It should be remembered that Osama bin Laden, the former head of al-Qaeda, was killed by American commandos in an operation in Abbottabad on May 2, 2011.
