Punjab Begins Offering Thousands of Children Advanced IT Courses

A skills development initiative was introduced on Monday by Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab. This program aims to improve the employability of young people by providing them with training in IT subjects such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, graphic design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and game development.

Using students from the Government Technology College for Women, Maryam Nawaz held a virtual inauguration ceremony to officially begin the CM’s Skills Development Program.

Together with the kids, she officially launched the initiative online. In 35 TEVTA institutes spread throughout several cities, 4000 teenagers will receive training as part of the project. Every year, the Punjab government will teach 4,000 students in advanced IT courses that meet worldwide standards. The Chief Medical Officer declared, “To increase youth employability, we will teach them in the newest, demand-driven IT courses in areas like cloud computing, cyber security, data analytics, graphic design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and game development.

She promised that the number will be gradually increased from 4000 to 40,000. Youth have a right to free TEVTA training in advanced courses, which was regrettably denied to them in the past, the speaker stated. The Punjab Chief Minister emphasized the importance of the CM Skills Development Program in her speech. “Under the project, 35 TEVTA institutes in various cities will train 4,000 youth,” the spokesperson stated.

How Many Students Get These Courses in Punjab?

Every year, the Punjab government would provide 4,000 students with advanced IT training in top-notch programs. The ultimate objective of this program is to give 40,000 students annually access to this opportunity, which will be gradually expanded.

The chief minister continued by saying that offering free training in advanced courses is an essential youth entitlement that has hitherto been disregarded. According to CM Maryam, students will earn certifications from prestigious multinational companies like Cisco, Microsoft, Adobe, and Unity after completing the course.
