ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) on Monday said it was examining reports of web disturbance in “a few regions” of the country.

In an explanation on Monday, the PTA said the general circumstance of web access the nation over was typical.

The assertion came a day after online entertainment destinations confronted serious disturbances nearly the nation over as an enormous number of netizens griped about challenges in getting to YouTube, Facebook and X — previously known as Twitter.

As per Downdetector, the applications, particularly the site forms went down after 7:00pm on Sunday.

Karachi, Lahore, Mir Pur Khas, and Rawalpindi were the most impacted urban areas in the country.
