Whoever has a missing person dies at every moment. How long will this series continue? Islamabad High Court
The Islamabad High Court, while hearing the case of four Afghan brothers who went missing from Islamabad in 2024, summoned the IG Punjab and IG Islamabad to the court on April 16.
Justice Muhammad Asif of the court remarked on this occasion that “Whoever has a missing person lives at every moment, but also dies at every moment.
” During the hearing, the mother of the missing sons became tearful in the courtroom, and seeing her pain, Justice Asif asked, “How long will this series continue?”
He added, “If this case were with you or me, I would have realized it, but you people come and say we don’t know anything, although we have seen such cases in Balochistan too.o
Where it was first said that we don’t have them, but later the people were recovered from there.” The court indicated the formation of a JIT to further investigate the case and ordered the IGs of Islamabad and Punjab to appear in person in court on April 16….
