The prices of petroleum products are likely to decrease further by Rs 9 per liter.
According to the sources, before the implementation of the budget, petrol prices are expected to decrease by Rs 9.28 paise per liter while the price of high-speed diesel is expected to decrease by Rs 4 per liter.
Apart from this, the price of kerosene oil is expected to decrease by 2 rupees and the price of light diesel by 4 rupees by 10 paise.
OGRA will send the summary of petroleum products to the government on Friday. The Prime Minister will decide to reduce the prices in consultation with the Finance Ministry. The government will decide keeping in mind the revenue requirements
