President Asif Zardari leaves for China visit
President Asif Ali Zardari left Islamabad for a visit to China.
The President left Islamabad along with a delegation for a visit to China from February 4 to 8.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Senator Salim Mandviwala, and Dr. Asim Hussain also accompanied the President.
Asif Ali Zardari will hold meetings with the high-level political leadership of China in Beijing. The President will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Premier of the State Council Li Qiang.
The President’s visit to China is of great importance for further strengthening bilateral relations. The President’s visit to China will play an important role in further enhancing bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
During the meetings, important bilateral issues including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, regional relations, and security cooperation will be discussed.
