PM Shehbaz Calls for Stronger Pakistan–Bahrain Trade Ties
An 11-member parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain, Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al Masalem, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Bilateral relations, investment, trade volume, and important issues of the Muslim Ummah were discussed in the meeting.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while expressing his best wishes for the Ruler of Bahrain, His Excellency Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, said that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain are very strong, based on a common faith, history, and culture.
Importance of exchange of parliamentary delegations
The Prime Minister termed the exchange of parliamentary delegations as important to further strengthen people-to-people contacts.
He said that such steps would further strengthen the relations between the two countries.
Invitation to Bahraini investors
The Prime Minister invited Bahraini investors to invest in Pakistan and said that numerous investment opportunities in Pakistan would prove beneficial for both countries.
Recognition of the services of the Pakistani community
Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the role of the Pakistani community in Bahrain and said that Pakistanis are performing very important services in various fields and are further strengthening the relations between the two countries.
Emphasis on promoting trade relations

The Prime Minister said on this occasion that Pakistan, Bahrain, and the entire Muslim Ummah should intensify their efforts to help their brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine.

The meeting was also attended by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and senior government officials, who discussed ways to further promote bilateral relations.
