PM Leaves For Diplomatic Trip To Strengthen Ties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has left for a 6-day official visit to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran and Tajikistan. He arrived in Istanbul from Lahore by a special plane where he was warmly welcomed.

The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will discuss bilateral relations, regional and global affairs, and economic cooperation with the leadership of these countries.

The Prime Minister will also thank the friendly countries for their support for Pakistan during the tension with India. In addition, he will also attend the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, on May 29 and 30.

The Prime Minister will return home on May 30.
