PM Inclusive Global Health Security Call

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar called for an inclusive global health security framework to enable information sharing and collaborative emergency responses during the inaugural session of a major international health conference.

Pakistan is hosting its first-ever Global Health Security Summit to highlight the importance of funding mechanisms to support nations in need.

The two-day summit convened over 70 delegates, including global leaders, health professionals and civil society activists, to reach a consensus on solutions for a safer and healthier future.

“Our responsibility ought to stretch out to lay out worldwide systems that work with data sharing, joint exploration, and cooperative techniques for a compelling reaction during crises,” the state head said while tending to the get-together.

“Beyond national strategies, we want to investigate components for worldwide financing that can uphold countries out of luck, guaranteeing that nobody is abandoned in our quest for wellbeing security,” he proceeded.

“With the world health organizations reporting over 3.5 million deaths and economic losses estimated to be over $12.5 trillion by the International Monetary Fund, the pandemic highlights the pressing need to sustain worldwide collaboration in tending to worldwide wellbeing dangers,” he added.
