Petrol prices are expected to be reduced from June 1

Due to the recent downward trend in the global market, there is a possibility of a Rs 7.50 reduction in the price of petrol per liter in Pakistan.

Sources suggest that the price of high-speed diesel is expected to decrease to Rs 6.25 per liter starting from June 1st.

The prices of petrol and high-speed diesel in the international market have decreased by $3.25 and $2.10 per barrel, respectively. It’s worth noting that the import premium on petrol has decreased by about 7% in the last fortnight, from $9.70 to $10.30 per barrel. As of now, the price of petrol is 273 rupees and 10 paise per liter, while diesel is available at 274 rupees and 8 paise per liter.
