Petrol Price Likely To Increase From 16 April

There is a possibility of an increase in the prices of petroleum products due to the change in global prices and the federal government’s plan to raise taxes. According to sources, petrol prices may increase by Rs 8 per liter today, and the price of petrol may go up to Rs 298 per liter. Additionally, the price of diesel is also likely to increase by Rs 2 per liter. Unofficial reports suggest that the government is considering raising the petroleum levy from Rs 60 to Rs 100 per liter. The new prices of petroleum products are anticipated to be announced on the evening of April 15.
