Petrol & Diesel Prices To See Massive Decrease From Aug 1

Due to the decrease in crude oil prices in the world market, there is a possibility of relief in Pakistan as well, according to sources, petroleum products may be cheaper by 11 rupees per liter from August 1.

Sources say that for the next 15 days, there is a possibility of a reduction in the price of petrol by 5 rupees 50 paise per liter, while the price of diesel per liter is expected to decrease by 11 rupees for the next 15 days.

Similarly, from August 1, kerosene is likely to be cheaper by Rs 5.84 per liter and light diesel by Rs 5 per liter.

The petrol price is Rs 275 60 paise and diesel is Rs 284 per liter.

On July 15, the government increased the petrol price Rs 9.99 per liter.

Sources say that pricing is expected to be fixed at zero exchange rate for the next 15 days, but prices can also be maintained by adjusting or increasing the tax level.

During the last 10 days, crude oil has become cheaper in the global market, it is likely that the relief of global price reduction will be conveyed to the people.
