PECA Act Alert: Strict Punishment for Spreading Anti-State Propaganda Online
Quetta District Administration and law enforcement agencies have stated that any individual who shares content against the state, Pakistan Army, or security agencies on social media platforms (including Facebook, WhatsApp groups, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) or uploads/forwards any post, video or statement in support of terrorists and anti-state elements like BYC,
will be subject to strict legal action under the PECA Act.
The administration has warned that any such digital activity will be considered a serious crime against the state and national security.
All citizens are appealed to show responsibility, not to be part of false propaganda, and immediately report any suspicious or provocative content to the relevant authorities.
This step is being taken to maintain law and order in Balochistan and prevent misuse of social media.
