Peace Deal Between Iran and Israel Is Near: Trump
US President Donald Trump has claimed that he is close to a peace agreement between Iran and Israel, and this will prove to be a breakthrough for the region.
President Trump says that his intervention has stopped many global conflicts in the past, including a possible war between Pakistan and India.
In a statement released on the social media platform “Truth”, Trump said: “Iran and Israel should make a deal, and that deal will be made. Just like I ended the tension between India and Pakistan.”
President Trump said that during his first term in office, there were tense situations between Serbia and Kosovo, but due to his efforts, the parties were willing to talk.
Similarly, he intervened on the issue of a large dam being built on the Nile River between Egypt and Ethiopia, which maintained peace in the region.
He added that there are still numerous phone calls and behind-the-scenes meetings between Iran and Israel, and that he is hopeful that some concrete progress will be made soon.
President Trump complained that he does not get full credit for these international efforts, but he said, “It’s okay, the people understand everything. We will make the Middle East great again.”
