The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Pakistan will continue its fight against all forms of terrorism with full determination. On the occasion of the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, a tribute was paid to the innocent students and teachers who lost their lives.
According to the statement, the APS tragedy is considered one of the worst and most inhumane acts in history, leaving the entire nation in mourning. The sacrifices of the martyrs symbolize the national resolve that Pakistan will continue its efforts until terrorism is completely eradicated.
The Foreign Office emphasized that Pakistan is among the countries most affected by terrorism, having lost over 90,000 precious lives, along with severe economic and social damages, which highlight Pakistan’s frontline role globally.
The statement further noted that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies continue to carry out effective and decisive operations against terrorist organizations. However, terrorist elements across the border still pose a serious threat, supported by hostile powers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to take concrete and practical measures to eliminate safe havens for terrorists and cut off all forms of support. Pakistan once again reaffirmed its commitment to public protection, defense of sovereignty, and sustainable peace in memory of the APS martyrs.
