The Railway Department has also issued a notification regarding the increase in fares
According to this, the fares of economy, AC standard, AC business, AC parlor, and AC sleeper classes of all passenger trains have been increased by one percent.
As per the notification, the fares of mail, express and intercity passenger trains have been increased.
While the increase in fares will also apply to all trains running under public-private partnership.
The increase in fares will be implemented from Friday, July 19, for which all Divisional Superintendents have been directed to update the fare table.
