Pakistan-Jordan Ties Strengthened in Key Defense Talks

Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir conducted an official visit to Jordan, where he held an important meeting with Jordan’s monarch, King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein. The Crown Prince of Jordan, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, was also present during the meeting.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan, the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including defense and security cooperation, in detail.

Field Marshal Asim Munir conveyed the good wishes of the Government of Pakistan, its people, and the Armed Forces to King Abdullah II.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Jordan. They also agreed to continue joint efforts to enhance defense cooperation and promote peace and stability in the region.

According to ISPR, this visit marks the beginning of a new chapter in the bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
