Pakistan & Iran Have Started Work On Removing Barriers To Trade

Islamabad: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to establish a sub-committee to address barriers to bilateral trade and resolve customs-related issues.

The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, Dr. Raza Amiri Mughdam, held a significant meeting with the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue, Rashid Mahmood Langriyal, at the FBR headquarters on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the parties discussed customs issues, cross-border trade, and management to facilitate and promote bilateral trade between the two countries.

They have agreed to remove barriers to bilateral trade to enhance economic activities and tap into the actual trade potential between the two neighboring countries. Furthermore, they have decided to form a sub-committee to comprehensively consider and resolve customs-related issues between the two nations.
