Pakistan has been elected as a member of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for a two-year term starting from September 2024, according to a statement issued by the Pakistani Embassy in Austria.
Pakistan has become a member of the Board of Governors for the 21st time, which is a strong recognition of Pakistan’s long-standing commitment and cooperation with the IAEA, the embassy said.
In a statement issued by the embassy, it was said that this membership is a reflection of Pakistan’s active role in the IAEA.
