Pakistan Downs 77 Indian Drones in Historic Air Defense Feat
Islamabad: The Pakistan Army has given a brilliant response to India’s continuous violation of Pakistani airspace and has destroyed 77 Indian drones so far.
According to security sources, all these operations were carried out under Pakistan’s modern air defense system.
According to sources, 29 drones were shot down till the evening of May 8, while 48 more drones were targeted from last night till today. These drones were Israeli-made “Heroap,” which was being used by India.
DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed that all the drones were continuously monitored on radar and targeted, keeping in mind the urban areas as per operational procedures.
According to sources, major successes were also achieved in Vehari, Pakpatt,an and Okara, where 6 Indian drones were shot down, of which 4 were shot down in Okara, 1 in Vehar,i and 1 in Pakpattan.
Defense experts say that Pakistan’s air defense system is thwarting the enemy’s advance at all levels, and this proves that Pakistan’s air borders are completely secure.
