Pakistan–China Boost Mining Ties

In a meeting held at the Chinese Embassy, Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik discussed strategic relations, energy, and mining sector cooperation between Pakistan and China.

The Chinese Ambassador stated that China will continue its support for the economic development of the Pakistani people and will make efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations. He also highlighted that the mining sector is a key area of cooperation between the two countries, with Chinese companies like MCC and CNMC already operating in Pakistan’s mining industry. Additionally, the Saindak and Siyyidk mineral projects are significant Chinese-backed initiatives in Pakistan’s mining sector.
