Pakistan Backs Trump for 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

Islamabad (Web Desk) — The Pakistani government has recommended nominating US President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize,

citing his “decisive diplomatic intervention” during the Pakistan-India tension.

According to an official statement, President Trump’s timely diplomatic efforts prevented a potential war between the two nuclear-armed states and ensured peace in the region.

Pakistani officials say that the US President, displaying exceptional tact and strategic insight, controlled the deteriorating situation and played a key role in the ceasefire.

The statement further said that if the conflict had continued, its devastating effects could have posed a serious threat not only to South Asia but also to global peace.

President Trump’s intervention reflects his “peacemaking role” and “commitment to resolving disputes through negotiations” on the global stage.

The Government of Pakistan, calling this diplomatic move unprecedented on a global scale, has called on the international community to recognize this historic role of President Trump.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send a formal letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee in the next few days, which will include evidence and arguments in favor of President Trump’s nomination.
