Pak Navy Set To Host 9th Aman Exercise And 1st Aman Dialogue

Karachi: The Pakistan Navy will host the 9th International Aman Exercise and 1st International Peace Dialogue from February 7 to 11.

This global naval activity will be the region’s most prominent and historic military event, in which military leadership, ships, and delegations from around the world will participate.

Aman Exercise 2025:

Date: February 7 to 11

Participation: 60 countries, ships, aircraft, special services groups, and delegates

Number of participants: Over 4,000

First International Aman Dialogue:

Naval Chiefs and Coast Guard Chiefs will deliberate on regional security and maritime threats.

120 delegations from around the world are expected to participate.

Key Features of Exercise Aman:

Exercises comprising harbor and sea phases

Demonstration of counter-terrorism expertise of Pak Marines and Special Service Group (Navy)

Joint operations exercises against maritime crimes

Conclusion:

Exercise Aman will conclude on February 11 with an International Fleet Review, which will be attended by top national and foreign dignitaries.

Historical Background:

Exercise Aman has been held every two years since 2007. The eighth Exercise Aman to be held in 2023 was attended by 50 countries. The main objective of Exercise Aman is to promote regional peace and cooperation.
