President Asif Ali Zardari signed the special court bill for the property of overseas Pakistanis.
According to the law, special courts will be established for the property of overseas Pakistanis. Under the law, property disputes overseas Pakistanis will be resolved within 90 days.
The President also approved the Deposit Protection Corporation Amendment Bill 2024. President Asif Zardari approved both bills under Article 75 of the Constitution.
The President also approved the appointment of Hafiz Tahirashrafi as a member of the Islamic Ideological Council.
On October 17, the bill to establish special courts related to the properties of Pakistanis overseas was approved by the Senate.
The proposed bill by Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik has been approved unanimously, while PTI’s Ali Zafar demanded that the bill be handed over to the relevant committee, saying that false cases are also made.
Ramesh Kumar said that the properties of Pakistanis overseas are seized while Irfan Siddiqui said that all the members support this bill as the overseas Pakistanis have their rights and this law has been framed for them.
He said that it is important to protect the properties of Pakistanis overseas. False cases of overseas Pakistanis are a separate matter.
