The government has increased the difficulties of the industry, and increased the gas rate of captive power of industries by 250 rupees.
Gas to industry captive power has been set at Rs 3 thousand per MMBtu, the application will be from July 1, Ogra has issued a notification of new gas prices.
Gas prices increased by Rs 250 per mmbtu for captive power plants from July 1, gas prices for all other sectors including domestic consumers will remain unchanged.
According to the notification, the gas price will remain the same for fertilizer factories, ice factories, and the cement sector.
Gas prices will remain unchanged for domestic commercial and industrial consumers, and gas prices for government and private power plants will also remain unchanged. The ECC had approved the revision of gas prices from July 1.
