Nuclear Non-Proliferation Conference 2024 was held in Islamabad. According to ISPR, a 2-day international conference was organized at Strategic Vision Institute Islamabad.
According to ISPR, scholars and experts from all over the world participated in the international conference.
The objective of the conference was to promote constructive dialogue on global strategic issues and to share Pakistan’s policy perspectives.
According to ISPR, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was the chief guest of the conference.
Prominent policymakers and practitioners of Pakistan participated in the conference.
According to ISPR, General Retired Zubair Mehmood Hayat, Lt General Retired Khalid Ahmed Qadwai, and Adviser National Command Authority Lt General Sarfraz Sattar also addressed the conference.
According to ISPR, the high-level conference reinforced Pakistan’s commitment to nuclear non-proliferation efforts. The importance of strategic dialogue for maintaining regional and international security was emphasized in the conference.
According to ISPR, scholars from the Institute of World Economy, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Center for Energy and Security Studies of Russia also participated in the conference.
Apart from scholars from the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, scholars from many international universities also participated in the conference.
