North Waziristan: Exchange Of Fire,12 Terrorists Killed
Security forces took action against Khawarij and killed 12 Khawarij, one soldier was martyred in the return fire.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on the intervening night of February 5 and 6, 2025, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Hassan Khel district of North Waziristan on information about the presence of Khawarij.
During the operation, security forces effectively targeted the Khawarij hideout, resulting in the killing of twelve Khawarij. However, during the intense exchange of fire
, Lance Naik Muhammad Ibrahim (age: 34 years, resident of Hangu district) accepted martyrdom while fighting bravely. According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain Khawarij.
The Khawarij were also active in several terrorist acts against the security forces as well as in the targeted killing of innocent civilians.
