DG ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that one individual has become a threat to national security, and no one will be allowed to incite the public against the military. He emphasized that no one will be allowed to create a rift between the army and the people.
The DG ISPR alleged that the PTI social media accounts are being handled from Afghanistan and India, and their narrative is being amplified by Afghan and Indian media. He referred to Imran Khan as a “mentally unstable person,” stating that he has been spreading anti-Pakistan rhetoric and that his tweets went viral within minutes through Afghan and Indian media.
He stressed that those targeting members of the military with such narratives are traitors, and inciting the public against the armed forces will not be tolerated.
“This mentally unstable person’s narrative poses a threat to national security,” said DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
