NFC Discusses Three-point Agenda In Ongoing Meeting

The eleventh meeting of the National Finance Commission (NFC), chaired by the Federal Minister for Finance, is currently underway, with participation from representatives of the federal government and all four provinces. The session aims to discuss a new formula for the equitable distribution of national financial resources among the provinces.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, who is also the chairman of the commission, is presiding over the meeting. Other members of the NFC are also in attendance, and discussions are being held on a three-point agenda.

The federal government and provincial representatives will present their respective financial positions. Additionally, the schedule for upcoming sessions to finalize the new NFC Award will also be determined during the meeting.
