NDMA Issues Weather Alert for June 2-7
Islamabad:Â The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather alert for June 2 to June 7 across the country.
According to NDMA, most parts of the country are expected to experience hot and dry weather. However, rain with thunder and lightning is likely in the Potohar region, southern and northeastern Punjab.
Northern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Malakand, Abbottabad, and Kurram, are also expected to witness rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. In Gilgit-Baltistan, partial cloud cover is expected in Gilgit, Skardu, and Hunza, with chances of rain in some areas.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy in Muzaffarabad and Mirpur.
Hot and dry weather conditions are expected in Quetta, Turbat, Gwadar, Khuzdar, and Zhob in Balochistan, as well as in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Mirpur Khas in Sindh.
