Mutilated Body of Musawir Khan Kakar Recovered from Isplinji
In the provincial capital Quetta, a heartbreaking incident unfolded when young Masoor Khan Kakar was abducted at gunpoint by unidentified armed men while on his way to school from home. Despite the passage of several months, authorities failed to trace his whereabouts. According to sources, the child was allegedly martyred during captivity.
Masoor Khan’s suspected body has now been recovered from the Spilanjai area of Mastung. Reliable sources confirm that the body was in a highly decomposed and mutilated condition. However, based on initial visual identification, the remains appear to be of Masoor Khan.
Authorities have made the confirmation of identity conditional upon DNA testing. The final announcement regarding Masoor Khan’s martyrdom will be made once the DNA results are received.
The discovery of the body of young Masoor Khan, who was abducted from Quetta last year, has taken a mysterious turn. Highly reliable sources have confirmed that the body of a child found in Spilanjai, Mastung, was indeed Masawir Khan’s. The body was badly decomposed due to the time elapsed since the abduction and was handed over to the family and buried yesterday. However, the family remains silent and unwilling to speak publicly about the incident.
One close family member, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the authorities handed them a body that appeared to be Masawir Khan’s based on physical resemblance. However, the family has formally requested the government not to officially declare his death until DNA test results confirm his identity.
According to the same source, officials informed the family that during a recent operation in Bolan, a terrorist was killed, and the forensic analysis of his mobile phone revealed an image of a child’s bloodied body. Further images helped locate the area, prompting a security operation that led to the discovery of the body, which was then brought to Quetta hospital. The identified location was Spilanjai, Mastung.
Authorities also informed the family that a major operation had been conducted in Spilanjai during Ramadan against the international terror group ISIS, resulting in the killing of several militants. The remaining militants fled and were later confirmed to be hiding in Mach, Bolan, where another operation was carried out last month.
The family said that the suspected kidnappers last contacted them during the month of Ramadan, after which all communication ceased. According to the updates provided by senior government officials, the vehicle used in the kidnapping was recovered. An operation was also carried out at a house in Quetta where the child was allegedly kept, resulting in several fatalities. These actions were reportedly taken by the government in response to strong public protests over the incident.
Chief Minister of Balochistan took personal interest in the case, expanding the scope of the investigation. Now, with this heart-wrenching discovery, the family awaits the final confirmation. The Government of Balochistan is expected to officially announce Masawir Khan’s martyrdom once the DNA test results are received.
