Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the state-of-the-art Immigration and Passport Office in Islamabad.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the backlog of passports in Pakistan has been eliminated,
Both urgent and regular passports were not available for 6 months, now passports and identity cards will be available on time.
He said that we will also provide a 24-hour passport facility to people in NADRA offices in 14 to 16 cities,
In the next 7 to 8 days, passport counters will be set up in these cities to provide passport facility to people, the timings of the passport office in Islamabad will be extended to 24 hours immediately.
He said that we need to build model centers in Lahore and other cities, there is space for a model center in Karachi as well, and model centers will be built in Lahore and Islamabad soon.
