Modi Will Think A Hundred Times Before Attacking Again: PM

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Indian government has now realized that Pakistan’s armed forces are always ready to defend themselves

, now the Modi government will think a hundred times before attacking Pakistan.

He said this while addressing a ceremony to distribute financial assistance checks to the families of those martyred and injured in the Indian attack in Muzaffarabad. Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam and other high officials were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister said that tensions between Pakistan and India had intensified in recent days and the situation could have taken a dangerous turn at any time. The Pahalgam incident is regrettable, but India used it to make false and baseless allegations against Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan made its position clear to the international community and demanded a transparent international investigation into the incident, but India took unilateral actions and targeted unarmed civilians in Azad Kashmir and other Pakistani areas.

The Prime Minister said that instead of targeting unarmed civilians, Pakistan shot down six Indian warplanes, including Rafale and MiG-29, in response. The Al-Fath missile response sent a strong message to the enemy, but India did not stop its aggression.

He revealed that after the retaliatory action, the Army Chief informed over the phone that India was ready for a ceasefire. The Prime Minister said that all three armed forces of Pakistan fought the enemy with full force and paid the price for the wounds of 1971.

During the ceremony, financial assistance of Rs 1 crore was provided to the families of the martyrs, while Rs 10 to 2 million was provided to the injured. The Prime Minister assured that compensation would also be provided to the affected people as soon as possible.
