Attack on the minds of the youth: Miscreants will be confronted through failed films and dramas
In a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the political and military leadership decided to give a befitting reply to the anti-national campaign.
According to government sources, a large meeting of the federal and provincial leadership was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister on the government’s unequivocal stance against terrorism.
Sources said that a meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s House yesterday, in which military and civil leadership, representatives from all four provinces, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, also participated.
It was decided in the meeting that no effort would be spared to expose the Jafar Express attackers to the world. A befitting reply will be given to the anti-national campaign on traditional and digital media.
The meeting agreed to strengthen the national narrative under the National Action Plan.
In the meeting, the National Narrative Committee was instructed to create an effective and active narrative to counter terrorists and miscreants.
It was also decided that any kind of content against the national narrative and the security of the country would be countered. In the meeting, it was agreed to increase cooperation and mutual contacts among all provinces for the sake of national security and harmony.
In the meeting, it was decided that to convey the national narrative to the youth, such national themes will be adopted in films and dramas that will effectively counter the narrative of miscreants,
The four provinces agreed to cooperate in this regard. It was decided in the meeting that content for the national narrative will also be broadcast on digital media.
In the meeting, it was decided that the negative social effects of terrorism should be highlighted, false news on social media will be countered,
While false information and content created through deepfake and other sources will be responded to with authentic information.
In the meeting, awareness about terrorism will be included in the national curriculum.
