Massive Fire Guts Quetta Furniture Warehouse
Quetta: A massive fire broke out in a furniture warehouse on Sabzal Road in Quetta, destroying the building.
According to initial reports, the incident resulted in a loss of approximately Rs 15 million.
Initially, the fire spread to the goods in the warehouse and engulfed the entire building in a few hours.
Rescue 1122 and fire brigade teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control, but by the time the rescue operation was completed, most of the warehouse had burned down.
Fire brigade officials stated that they will now attempt to determine whether the fire was caused by a short circuit or deliberate provocation.
This is not the first time in recent incidents that a large-scale warehouse fire has broken out in Quetta. The public and businessmen have called on authorities to strengthen safety measures to prevent such accidents from happening again.
