The Maiwand Brigade and the district administration jointly visited the Tanga Water Supply Scheme approved under the BISD program at a cost of Rs. 1 billion. Commandant Maiwand Brigade Colonel Farooq Ashraf and Deputy Commissioner Kohlu Azeem Jan Domki reviewed the progress of the project.
During the visit, Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Niaz Baloch briefed the officials on various technical and administrative aspects of the scheme. The overall progress, construction quality, and completion stages of the project were thoroughly reviewed.
Speaking on the occasion, Colonel Farooq Ashraf and Deputy Commissioner Azeem Jan Domki stated that the Tanga Water Supply Scheme is a mega and highly important project for district Kohlu, which will ensure the provision of clean drinking water to urban areas upon completion. They emphasized that providing basic facilities to the public is a top priority of the government and state institutions.
The officers directed the concerned departments to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high standards of quality, transparency, and pace. They made it clear that no negligence would be tolerated.
Wadera Rab Nawaz Jhang assured that all available resources would be utilized to complete the public welfare project at the earliest.
Lieutenant Colonel Taha Ali Khan, XEN Niaz Baloch, SDO Ghulam Bari, engineers, and other officials and notables were also present on the occasion.
