Magnificent Pakistan Day Parade

Islamabad: Today, Pakistan Day is being celebrated across the country with national enthusiasm. The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21 in the provincial capitals. The main ceremony of Pakistan Day was held at Shakar Padian Parade Ground, where the armed forces showed their full strength and discipline. President Asif Ali Zardari was the chief guest of the parade of Pakistan forces, while foreign guests including the Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia also participated.

The ceremony was attended by Army Chief General Asim Munirsmeet Services Chief at Shikarpadian Parade Ground. Apart from this, federal ministers, members of the assembly, and foreign ambassadors to Pakistan participated. Troops of various units of the Pakistan Army saluted, while the modern planes of the Pakistan Air Force, JF-17, F-16, and Mirage aircraft, performed an aerial demonstration.
