In Islamabad Police, low-grade officers have been appointed to higher posts, SP Ali Raza has been appointed as DIG Islamabad.
IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi issued a notification of appointments.
According to the notification, SP Ali Raza has been posted as DIG while SP Arslan Shahzeb has been posted as SSP Operations and SSP Investigation.
Due to a shortage of officers, SDPOs and ASPs were given the charge of SP. ASP Shahzad Akbar has been transferred from SP Rural and sent to the headquarters.
DSP Kazim Naqvi has been posted as SP Rural while DSP Khalid Awan has been posted as SP City.
