Khawaja Asif Warns India:Full Force Response If War is Imposed

In a recent interview, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif stated that if India imposes war on Pakistan, the country is fully prepared to respond with overwhelming force. He mentioned that the armed forces of Pakistan are on high alert, with troops stationed along the borders of both nations. While acknowledging the threat of war, Asif emphasized that tensions could de-escalate, but warned that the situation could also lead to an all-out conflict.

Clarifying a previous statement, Asif denied claiming that war would break out in the next few days, stating that his remarks had been misinterpreted. He stressed that if Pakistan were attacked, it would retaliate decisively, asserting that the country’s military was always ready for the defense of the nation.

The statement comes in the wake of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly after the recent attack on tourists in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir, which has further strained diplomatic relations. Both countries have mobilized their military forces along the borders, with frequent reports of exchanges of fire along the Line of Control (LoC).

Pakistan has made it clear that any aggression by India would be met with a response that the world would not forget, reminding India that Pakistan’s missile capabilities are not for display but for deterrence and defense.
