5 thousand 960 incidents have been reported in Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi, during August.
The Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) on Street Crimes has released a report on the crimes committed in Karachi during August 2024.
According to the CPLC report, 23 valuable vehicles were snatched at gunpoint.
150 cars were stolen. 656 motorcycles were seized, while 3385 motorcycles were stolen.
According to the report, robbers stole 1737 mobile phones from citizens, 3 cases of kidnapping for ransom, and 6 cases of extortion were reported.
