Karachi Once Again In The Grip Of Heat Wave

After the mercury reached 41 degrees in Karachi, the courage of the citizens responded. During four days, more than 70 people affected by extreme heat reached Civil and Jinnah Hospital.

AMS Civil Hospital Dr. Nizam says that 67 people affected by heatstroke were brought to the emergency in Civil Hospital, most of them were elderly or suffering from various diseases. AMS Civil Hospital said that none of the patients suffered from heat stroke.

3 heat-affected patients were brought to Jinnah Hospital today, and 12 patients were brought to Jinnah Hospital in the last 4 days.

On the other hand, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that there will be a partial heat wave in Karachi for the next 2 days, the intensity of the heat is being felt due to the change of wind direction, and the temperature is expected to drop after 2 days from now, while from the first week of July, the monsoon will begin. A series of golden rains is likely to start.
