The deadline for submission of the entrance exams without delay has been extended for the second time by Karachi Board.
Director of Examinations Zahruddin Bhutto on Wednesday announced the new application window for Class IX annual examination 2025 (including both Science and General categories) and private candidates from November 6 to November 19, 2024, allowing government schools to send letters this time without paying any late fees.
Bhutto said that this will be the last extension and no further delay will be allowed in sending the letters. According to the plan of the State Education Department, the Entrance Exam 2025 is supposed to be held in March.
Students who miss the deadline will be charged a late fee which will increase accordingly. From November 20 to December 3 and from December 4 to December 17, a late fee of Rs 500 will be charged, the fee will increase to Rs 800 from December 18 to January 1, 2025, and Rs 1,500 from January 2 to January 1,200. January 15; Rs 1,800 from January 16 to January 24;
The postage fee is Rs 1,200 for regular students and Rs 2,200 for special students. BSEK recommends students to submit their documents as soon as possible to avoid rushing.
This will also ensure that students can complete their registration process smoothly and focus on their exam preparations.
Entrance Exam is the main public exam that Pakistani students take after completing secondary education.
