Justin Sun, the founder of the TRON blockchain network and a cryptocurrency billionaire, visited Islamabad at the invitation of the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC). During his trip, he attracted attention after a video surfaced showing him sitting in and inspecting a local Pakistani rickshaw.
Sun himself shared a clip on X (formerly Twitter), describing his experience with the iconic three-wheeled vehicle. He wrote, “In Pakistan, a rickshaw is not just a ride; for many drivers, it supports the entire family.”
He thanked Momin Saqib for helping him get into the rickshaw and added humorously, “Time was short, so I only mastered one thing: the brakes!”

Sun also praised the role of rickshaws in daily life, saying, “Rickshaws are like the city’s capillaries, connecting people and keeping everything moving. Respect to everyone working hard every day.”
Describing his visit as “a complete success,” Sun shared a vlog documenting his trip, covering his arrival at Islamabad International Airport, visits to Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance, and meetings with key government officials. In the vlog caption, he wrote: “My Pakistan Trip Vlog — many thanks to the Pakistani government for the invitation. This visit to Pakistan was a complete success!”
