Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa took notice of the letter on the part of 6 judges of Islamabad High Court regarding the alleged interference in judicial affairs. It should be remembered that the government after consulting the Chief Justice on this matter, on Justice (retd) Tasadeq Hussain Jilani. A one-member inquiry commission has been formed, but yesterday, more than 300 lawyers demanded the Chief Justice to take notice of the matter.
The lawyers demanded that the Chief Justice under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution. Take automatic notice which is related to public interest. On the matter of the judges’ letter, the Chief Justice constituted a 7-member larger bench consisting of the judges in the principal seat of Islamabad. The 7-member bench will be headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa. Apart from this, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Yahya Khan Afridi, Jamal Khan Mandakhil, Justice Atharmanullah, Justice Musrat Hilali and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan are also included in the larger bench. He will hear the matter on Wednesday at 11:30.
