According to the declaration, the participants of the forum reiterated their commitment to increase cooperation for a safe, peaceful, and prosperous world and emphasized the resolution of conflicts between states through dialogue and negotiation. , respect the use of political, social, and economic circles.

The organization supported the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on peace, coordination, and development while emphasizing increasing cooperation in the fields of politics, security, trade, economy, investment, and culture among the member countries of the organization.

The statement said that the Forum opposed the imposition of unilateral trade restrictions, emphasizing the need to establish a non-discriminatory and transparent trading system and termed it as a violation of World Trade Organization rules and said that international law principles, mutual respect and take care of national interests.

At the SCO summit, Pakistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan supported China’s Belt and Road Initiative, while the forum emphasized the need for better economic cooperation between Europe and Asia.

According to the declaration, the leaders said that they consider it important to advance the sustainable and comprehensive economic development of the member countries. On this occasion, to increase cooperation in e-commerce, finance and banking, investment, high technology, start-ups, poverty alleviation, health, agriculture, industrial sectors, transport, logistics connectivity, energy, communication, science and technology, environment, and climate change. Emphasized.

The SCO member countries emphasized One Earth, One Family, and One Future and along with this, the need to create a data bank for ongoing investment projects in the member countries, holding regular meetings of the Special Working Group on Electronic Commerce.

The statement said that the leaders also emphasized reviewing proposals for the implementation of national industrial policy and experience sharing of digital platforms, production technology, and IT solution initiatives.

In the SCO meeting, the economic and organizational activities of SCO were reviewed and several decisions were taken.

The leaders approved a report on multilateral trade and economic cooperation. The importance of cooperation in the field of information security was emphasized and the participants gave directions for the implementation of economic priorities, and measures to promote trade cooperation.

The heads of member countries participating in the meeting paid tribute and congratulated Pakistan on the successful meeting of the SCO.

And the next SCO summit was announced to be held in Russia in 2025. Participants supported the awarding of the 2024-25 Chair of the Organization to China

The meeting noted the proposal for partnership with the Eurasian Economic Union, Southeast Asian Association, and others while the co-chairs advocated promoting cooperation within the framework of sustainable development, saying that green growth, digital economy, The capacity of the region in areas such as trade has to be improved.
