Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah took over the charge of ICC Chairman.
According to details, Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Indian Cricket Board and the son of Home Minister Amit Shah from India’s Hindu extremist party BJP, took over the charge of ICC Chairman today after the completion of Greg Barclay’s term.
ICC Chairman Greg Barclay’s term was till November 30, Greg Barclay had announced his resignation in August, and Jay Shah was elected ICC Chairman unopposed on August 27.
Jay Shah was the Secretary of the Indian Cricket Board for 5 years, Jay Shah will remain the ICC Chairman for the next 3 years.
The ICC has also confirmed that Jay Shah has started working as ICC Chairman, Jay Shah’s term as Chairman ICC has begun.
Jay Shah said in his statement that he is proud to take over the post of ICC Chairman,

The deadlock on the holding of the Champions Trophy is likely to end before the voting stage
According to sources, the PCB has shared a new formula with the ICC,
Under the new formula, Pakistan will also play its matches at neutral venues in ICC events held in India,
Pakistan wants to implement the new formula in ICC events for the next three years.
Sources say that under the new formula, India’s matches will be held in Dubai, Pakistan wants to play with India on an equal footing.
Sources further say that the ICC meeting regarding the holding of the Champions Trophy is likely to be held any time today, the new formula will not be called a hybrid model but some other name.
It should be remembered that while talking to the media in Dubai yesterday, PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi said that the issues of the Champions Trophy are going on and we will try to achieve what is best for Pakistan.
